Atmoravi - originally from Belarus, since a while lives in Germany and amongst many things opened for BG and Aquarium and Basley (both Sankt-Petersburg). Such a historical background could earn him a cult status at least within his home country. Last septemeber he undertook another attack in this direction - release of the debut record "Chertopoloh". Truth to be said this kind of individuals are difficult when it comes to mass-production - next to Nike Borzov or as a leader of Smyslovye Gallyuzinazii he would look odd to say the least - though it would not be disharmonious. When playing live more of a "guitar and voice" classic songwriter on the record Atmoravi produced intelligent, remote synth-pop, "new wave" or for sure some very special old wave, that was new some time ago or going to be new in near future. If he would take some of that vicious charisma from western glam and synth rockers - there are glimpses of something close to the fashionable INTERPOL in the tracks CRANES and CHANCE from the album. But ATMORAVI does not sell himself that cheap. "Physology is one of the precise sciences" - that's the conclusion he makes and instead of taking it and using it he turns to the higher matters. Still it looks like Gods where real decent to him and gave him enough of inspiration to write Chance, beautiful and nervous hit-mantra, pulsing and buzzing as good as most actual rock-modern music.
